Loyalty is On The Cards

Many retail, hotel and leisure businesses use a simple but effective means of rewarding loyalty: a collector card.

The customer is given a card with their first purchase and gets it stamped for each subsequent purchase. Once all the stamps are collected, the completed card is handed over at the till for a free coffee, complimentary meal, free night’s accommodation etc.

A quick survey by Send of the high street reveals many businesses are missing out on the valuable data this could gather.

Using Send’s web registration facility a collector could be incentivised to register their card details online. This not only creates a contact database for future communications, but through a few questions enables consumer preferences to be understood.
